Medical City Frisco recently expanded its healthcare footprint by adding 118,000 square feet of new patient care space to its existing 150,000-square-foot hospital. This thoughtfully designed addition features 36 new patient beds, two spacious waiting areas, and purpose-built support spaces for caregivers, thereby increasing the hospital’s total capacity to 98 beds. The new tower was also constructed with vertical expansion in mind, with structural support for up to six future floors.

Located across from World Cup Plaza and the FC Dallas soccer stadium, the new facility sits at the center of a vibrant community filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural energy. As Frisco continues to experience rapid growth, Collin County ranks as one of the fastest-growing counties in the U.S., and the demand for accessible, modern healthcare spaces has never been higher.

Inside, the building was intentionally designed to foster a sense of calm and care. Large windows fill each level with natural light, while spacious lounges and waiting areas create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and families. Caregiver wellness was also a top priority. With integrated nursing stations, dedicated staff respite rooms, and collaborative work areas woven throughout patient units, the space supports both high-quality care and caregiver wellbeing.

Backed by a $91 million investment from HCA Healthcare, the expansion at Medical City Frisco reflects a broader commitment to delivering compassionate, accessible care on a larger scale. The use of modular casework from OFS’s Mile Marker G2 system further enhances the facility’s flexibility and performance,  allowing spaces to adapt to evolving patient needs and operational demands over time.
